Hello 10s

Lost 1.75lb this week taking me down to 10 stone 13.75lb. That's the first time I've been in the 10s for I can't remember how many years - at least 6 or 7.

The last time I was this weight I was a different shape as I was about 3 cup sizes smaller up top so probably a bit pudgier everywhere else. Trying to look on the bright side, if I don't lose weight from my bust at least that is surgically fixable!

Dropping a stone bracket means I drop a point, it is going to take a bit of adjusting to get used to 18 points I think. Or maybe I will have to use my activity points. I keep saying I'm going to try and use half and see what happens and really plan to do it but then I get to the weekend when I plan to use up the extras and bail out! Usually I SP on a Saturday morning, see a loss, and worry I will undo all the good work if I eat all those extra points so manage without them.

This Saturday hubby and I went out for a meal with my brother and his girlfriend and I managed to be only 2 points over for the day. Yesterday I went 2 points over again, but as I had a few food points saved and earned 7.5 activity points over the weekend it was not a problem.

Cleared out my drawers yesterday and ditched all my size 18 knickers. The size 16 ones are wearable and I unearthed some size 14s from the back which I will bring into first choice use again. I've also ditched most of my size 18 trousers. I kept one pair of jeans to try on when I get to goal, and I still have a couple of pairs of size 18 work trousers (the tighter ones) to wear in laundry emergencies as I don't have enough 14s and 16s. I try to avoid them though as I keep having to yank them up!

In sorting my drawers I came across a size 14 pair of gym trousers which I think I kept as I really liked them even when I grew out of them. I wore them to the gym yesterday and they looked great! In fact when I was on the cross trainer (whose control panel blocks my view of my chest in the mirrors) I thought I looked pretty good! If only I could block everyone else's view of my chest too! :)

I feel much more organised with my pared down wardrobe and drawers. Despite all my shopping lately I still have very little choice what to wear, less time deciding in the mornings! In is so good to really see a difference for myself and start to feel good about my body. This week takes me over the 'halfway to goal' mark and I can really feel I am getting somewhere.

In other news I also dropped a BMI point this week to 27. In 10.75lb I will be officially no longer overweight. Next mini goal is 10 stone 9lb though - that will be my 5th 7lb star and BMI 26.

  2. Congratulations for breaking down another stone barrier. Sounds like we are much the same weight and size at the moment, and I've done a thorough clear out of all my old 18s over the past couple of months too. The boobs have stayed the same here too, surprisingly as in the past that's where the weight always went from with me too, but I'm quite happy with them being a couple of cup sizes bigger than before - they were always teeny!
