NSV week

So far this has been a good week.

On Monday some of the new bras I ordered were delivered. I tried getting some one cup size smaller - and they were perfect! Finally I have dropped a cup size yaaaaay! I wore one on Tuesday with a relatively clingy top as it was mild enough to ditch the jumpers at last. I think the change of outfit after weeks of shivering in layers must have been a big enough difference to be noticeable.

I had my appraisal review in the afternoon and when we had completed the business bit and had moved onto chatting my boss said I looked great and asked how much weight I had lost, how I did it etc. Not sure an appraisal was an appropriate forum but I was too chuffed to care! Then not an hour later one of my team colleagues IMed me to say I was looking very trim and whatever I was doing was working!

No-one at work had said anything until then and then I get two mentions in one afternoon. It's amazing what a difference a well fitted bra and a clingy top make!

We had a lunch out today at a very nice Italian restaurant. I don't normally get to go to Italian restaurants despite them being my favourite because my hubby is coeliac and Italian is about the worst for finding gluten free options as even when you exclude pasta, bread and pizzas they tend to have loads of flour in kitchen so cross-contamination is hard to avoid.

I'd saved some points so I decided to have what I fancied - spaghetti carbonara. It was absolutely lush, and well worth the 15 points I estimate it was. As lunch was very large and very late I don't need tea tonight. I've just munched on some cherry tomatoes to get another portion of veg in for the day and I may have some clementines in a bit. If I do I will only be over 1 point for the day, without needing to dip into activity points or anything. It's good to have an occasional yummy treat without it messing up the diet.

Hope you have a great week too!

  1. Oh, what excellent nsvs, and as for the spag carbonara, I'm just plain jealous. Well done you for working it in without going off track.
